JANUARY-MAY AND AGAIN SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER

Weed controls start early in the year and begin again in the late summer months. These applications aid in controlling weedsbefore they get started. Once watered in, the pre-emergent weed control sets up a barrier in the soil to prevent seeds from germinating. Ideally you will never see the potential weed problems. Your technician will also spray for any weeds already established on all regular lawn care visits. A mixture of pre-emergent and fertilizer are used as an application to lengthen the control of weeds in the grass growing seasons. As always, there is no extra charge if we need to re-spray for weeds within 30 days after your last lawn application.

Prevention is Key

The best control of grubs is applying a preventative treatment from June through mid August. We can apply a guaranteed preventative treatment to control these devastating insects before they can cause damage to your lawn. If you feel there is current grub activity, a grub curative treatment may be necessary. This application is a one time treatment applied before the preventative to kill grubs on contact. For yearly protection, we recommend our guaranteed grub prevention application! Give us a call and together, we’ll send these pests packing.

With present mosquito controls, the solution is temporary at best. Citronella candles, smelly repellants, zappers and torches all do a poor job of controlling mosquitoes. This program targets mosquitoes where they live and breed from the perimeter of your house to the property lines around your yard. The applications involve 4 seasonal sprays to the perimeter of your property, in and around the trees and shrubs, and under the decks and against the house. These sprays target hiding spots where mosquitoes congregate waiting to feed on you and your family. These applications will make your property undesirable for mosquitoes to hang around, greatly reducing the amount of mosquito encounters each day.
